Help Wanted: Part-Time Event Coordinator / Party Host at John’s Box of Bricks

John’s Box of Bricks, a retail LEGO store with a dedicated in-store party space, is seeking a reliable Part-Time Event Coordinator / Party Host to join our team. This role focuses on planning and managing birthday parties and other special events for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Planning and coordinating LEGO-themed birthday parties and events
•  Working directly with families to customize party details including setup, activities, and decorations
•  Hosting events on-site: greeting guests, managing the schedule, and ensuring everything runs smoothly
•  Providing excellent guest service and helping create positive experiences that encourage repeat visits and great reviews

Position Details:

•  Prep & Communication: 2–6 hours per week (planning, guest communication, etc.)
•  Most events are approximately two hours long and held on weekends
•  Weekend availability is essential for hosting events
•  Requires flexibility to accommodate guest needs and event schedules

Compensation:

•  $17–$20 per hour + commission incentives based on party size, total party cost, and Google reviews

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, personable, and enjoys working with families and children. Previous experience in events, hospitality, guest service, or party planning is a plus. LEGO enthusiasm is welcome but not required.
