Job Summary


The Chino Valley Area Chamber of Commerce serves as the community’s Visitor Information Center and as an
advocate for the local business community. At our core, we vigorously promote a “Shop Local” campaign to
strengthen economic vitality.
This position is an employee of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce and will be assigned to work in and support
the Chino Valley Area Chamber of Commerce, which is managed by the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.
Because both Chambers operate collaboratively, this position will assist with organization-wide projects as
needed. Likewise, Prescott Chamber staff may assist with Chino-based initiatives when necessary. Teamwork, communication, and flexibility are essential components of this role.

Essential Job Functions
1. Front Desk & Visitor Services
 Greet visitors and provide a friendly, professional welcome.
 Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, redirecting calls as necessary.
 Provide information about Chamber services, events, membership programs, and community resources.
 Maintain the Visitor Information Center in compliance with the agreement with the Town of Chino
Valley.
2. Administrative Duties
 Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, and copying.
 Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing correspondence.
 Maintain office supplies and ensure necessary materials are available.
 Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
3. Membership Maintenance & Growth
 Process new membership applications and renewals.
 Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records in the database.
 Respond to member inquiries with exceptional customer service.
 Support membership growth efforts with a goal of securing at least three (3) new members per month.
4. Event Coordination
 Organize Chamber events, workshops, and networking functions.
 Coordinate event logistics including registration, venue setup, and on-site support.
 Collaborate with Prescott Chamber staff and volunteers to ensure successful events.
5. Marketing, Social Media & Communications
 Manage the Chamber’s social media accounts and website updates.
 Create content for newsletters, emails, press releases, and other communications.
 Support marketing efforts promoting Chamber programs and the “Shop Local” campaign.
6. Volunteer Development
 Develop and maintain volunteers to assist with management of the Visitor Information Center and Chamber events.
7. Team Collaboration
 Collaborate with Prescott Chamber staff on joint initiatives and regional projects.
 Provide support to other staff members as needed.
 Participate in team meetings and planning sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
 High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus).
 Experience in office administration or related roles preferred.
 Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office software.
 Familiarity with social media platforms and basic website maintenance.
 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
 Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently.
 Friendly, professional demeanor with exceptional customer service skills.
