John’s Box of Bricks is growing fast — and we’re looking for someone who wants more than a job.

We’re hiring an entrepreneur-minded Warehouse Operations Manager to take ownership of a stand-alone fulfillment division and run it like it’s their own business. This isn’t a traditional supervisor role. It’s a hands-on leadership position with autonomy, accountability, and real upside for someone who thrives on improving systems, working independently, and building something better every day.

Most of the year, you’ll operate independently — organizing, optimizing, and fulfilling orders yourself. During peak seasons, you’ll hire, train, and lead your own small team to scale operations efficiently.  During slower time of year, you will have opportunities to work in some of our other related lines of business as well.  

If you enjoy building processes, eliminating waste, managing labor smartly, and seeing your improvements directly increase results (and your bonuses), this role is for you.

 

What You’ll Own

You’ll take full responsibility for a stand-alone fulfillment operation, including:

  • Running daily picking, packing, shipping, and quality control
  • Ensuring fast, accurate, on-time order delivery
  • Hiring and leading seasonal team members (OCT–DEC peak)
  • Training staff and creating efficient workflows
  • Managing inventory accuracy and audits
  • Improving systems to reduce errors, time, and costs
  • Tracking KPIs and continuously optimizing performance
  • Maintaining a safe, organized, professional workspace
  • Collaborating with leadership to support growth and new initiatives

Experience & Skills

  • Management or leadership experience required
  • 3+ years in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or e-commerce operations strongly preferred
  • Experience hiring, training, and motivating teams
  • Comfortable with inventory systems and shipping platforms (UPS/FedEx/USPS)
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Lean/process improvement mindset
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay active on your feet
